Recommended Belt Break in procedure
To help ensure a longer life and better performance from your belt, we strongly recommend following the break in procedure below:
1. Wash the belt in warm soapy water and let it air dry to remove all residues.

2. Scuff drive and driven clutch sheaves with a Scotch-Brite pad.

3. Then clean with brake/contact cleaner and a clean towel.

4. Drive unit in low gear for the first 15 miles. Varying your speed.

Avoid riding at wide open throttle during this time.

This will ensure the belt gets seated properly.
